Extra-deep, 5.5-inch decks are fabricated from heavy-gauge formed steel. Robotic-welded, heavy-gauge steel construction is more durable than stamped steel designs.

Anvil-edged deck with formed steel reinforcement on the leading edge features 7-gauge skirts (10 ga. On 42-inch) and geometrically engineered design for superior impact protection that will withstand the punishments of commercial mowing.
Spindle planes fabricated from double-layered, 12-gauge plus 12-gauge formed steel laminate that is 0.2092 inch thick the equivalent of 5-gauge steel (42-inch); 10-gauge plus 10-gauge formed steel laminate that is 0.269 inch thick 7.6 percent thicker than ¼-inch steel (52-inch)
Sentry spindles with massive, 8-inch flanges anchored in a 6-bolt pattern, spread the force of impact for greater strength
