One easy purchase. No surprises.
With a low cost of ownership and a simple buying process, Grasshopper helps you get right down to business with a purchase you feel good about and a decision you can take pride in—not to mention a zero-turn mower that’s built to last.
Built to last.
Made to mow with flawless performance even after years, Grasshopper zero-turn mowers are made with commercial-grade features you won't find in most mowing equipment.
From the frame and the deck all the way down to the fenders, we put metal where it matters—everywhere. Made from high-grade, heavy-gauge US steel, Grasshopper zero-turn mowers are built to stand tall against the wear and tear of daily mowing. DuraMax® decks are made from robotically welded, heavy-gauge, formed steel and feature an extra layer of steel over the leading edge for greater overall durability and impact protection. Plus, these extra-deep 5.5-inch decks feature specially designed cutting chambers that deliver superior airflow for a better cut quality. The hydrostatic transmissions used in our mowers are built to strict specifications and design-matched to the power unit to provide smooth, intuitive performance. Our transmissions transfer more power to the cutting deck for quieter operation, longer service life, and traction through turns for a better-quality cut. With fewer grease points, easy access to belts and filters, plus a fine-particle filtration system that lets you run your mower up to 1,000 hours between transmission oil changes, our mowers have been engineered to simplify service and keep you in peak mowing condition longer.
Attachments for year-round work.
Grasshopper's versatile lineup of zero-turn attachments will help you get more out of your investment, keeping your mower productive all year long.
Turn your mower into winter's worst nightmare with our complete line of snow removal attachments. From the DriftBuster™ Snowthrower and the CleanSweep™ Rotary Broom to the Little Bully™ Dozer Blade and V-Plow, these attachments are efficient and highly productive for clearing sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, and more. The most efficient and powerful leaf collector in the industry, the PowerVac™ Collection System is a deck-driven vacuum that sucks up virtually any lawn debris, including wet leaves, sticks, litter, and more. The PowerVac is also highly effective at bagging grass-clippings, helping keep your cut crisp and properties clean. The Edge-EZE™ edger attachment can help create clean edges along sidewalks, roadways, and other paved areas. Edging time can be reduced by up to 75% as compared to using a conventional handheld stick edger or walk-behind edger. A fast and maneuverable zero-turn mower paired with a CleanSweep Rotary Broom or Turbine Blower will keep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other high-traffic areas clear. They can also help spruce up lawn areas that have become covered with mud, gravel, and other debris over the winter months. The Shielded Sprayer is the most productive and cost-effective solution for chemical application. Capable of covering up to 5.5 acres per tank, it allows you to treat large areas faster and with more precision. For municipalities, schools, and other agencies that prioritize beautiful, well-kept outdoor spaces, attachments like the AERA-vator™ Coreless Aerator and Tine-Rake™ Dethatcher will help crews stay ahead of seasonal maintenance and cover large areas like sports fields efficiently and quickly.
Easy purchasing process.
Buying through a cooperative partner is the easiest way to save time and money while getting the equipment you need.
Purchasing your equipment through a co-op partner allows you to leverage its collective buying power to negotiate discounted pricing from vendors. These lower prices are granted to all members of the co-op, regardless of how many mowers they are looking to buy. Under normal circumstances, smaller agencies may not qualify for a “volume discount” if they are only buying a small number of mowers. But when part of a co-op, even the smallest of agencies can save money, too. With as many commercial mower manufacturers as there are, gathering all the necessary information to make your bid can be an incredibly time-consuming and monotonous task. That's why co-ops research for you. With all the required product information already sourced and provided upfront, you'll have all the specs and details you need to make a sound buying decision. And, all that time normally spent on product research can be allocated to other tasks. Co-ops also help eliminate the step of soliciting bids, which can be an equally time-consuming process for a purchasing agent. The co-op sources the vendors, negotiates the pricing, and establishes the contracts. All you have to do is choose from the available options. Because vendors have been thoroughly researched and vetted through the co-op, individual agencies can be confident about the products they are buying. At Grasshopper, our entire product catalog is available, as opposed to just a selection of certain models, sizes, or engine options. That complete range of options means agencies can always choose the best mower for their particular application. Even though co-ops take care of the research, bidding, contract creation, and transaction, individual purchasing agents still make their own buying decisions. Agents are also allowed to confer with vendors to see more information to help them make their decision. Grasshopper is one of the few manufacturers that has a dedicated bid department to support the purchases made by government agencies. Plus, our nationwide network of independent sales/service dealers are always available to answer questions, set up and deliver mowers, and provide training.
