300G MidMount zero-turn riding lawn mowers feature robust, efficient EFI engines that minimize fuel-related service issues, reduce emissions, and offer powerful performance.
Closed-loop electronic fuel injection continually adjusts fuel ratio to use less fuel and provide reliable hot and cold starts, reduced exhaust emissions, and fewer fuel-related service issues. Featuring either V-twin B&S Vanguard® OHV gasoline engines with vertical crankshaft and pressure lube or a V-twin Kawasaki® gasoline engine, the 300G series mowers are designed to provide efficient power and extend service life. Engine models feature automotive-style plug-in diagnostics and facilitate faster, more precise service.

Design-matched Hydro-Gear® tansmissions bring smooth, responsive, all-pro performance to the 300G zero-turn MidMount™ mowers.
Hydro-Gear® ZT4400 and ZT5400 transmissions are design-matched to the mower, feature self-contained, heavy-duty transaxles, and are engineered to transmit more power to the cutting deck. Integrated cooling fans and 1-3/8-inch axles extend service life, while the overall design of both drive systems provides best-in-class transmission fluid change intervals.

We didn't settle for flimsy, stamped steel decks. We spent years building the toughest, most durable deck around.
All of our mower decks—standard and DuraMax®—are made from the same robotically welded, heavy-gauge, formed steel and are far superior to the flimsy plastic or stamped-steel construction you find elsewhere. We've added an extra layer of heavy-gauged formed steel to our DuraMax deck that sits over the deck’s leading edge for even more durability and impact protection. The geometry of the formed steel is seven times stronger than a strip of flat steel. Our extra deep, 5.5-inch decks are made from years of innovative airflow research and feature specially-designed cutting chambers that deliver enhanced airflow for a better cut quality. Spindles are anchored to double layers of robotically-welded, formed steel in a 6-bolt pattern to spread the force of impact for greater strength in commercial applications. Triple-strength decks are nearly 1-inch thick in stress zones with durable Sentry™ spindles mounted on spindle planes that are more than 25% thicker than 1/4 inch. Spindle guards shield the housing and seal lower bearings from grass wrap and dirt ingestion. High-impact, high-rotational-speed bearings with durable seals extend spindle life. Designed to let you change the way you mow without changing decks, Grasshopper decks let you easily convert between standard Side-Discharge, Down-Discharge Mulching, and PowerVac Collection. Easily reach belts and grease points, plus make quick, simple work out of your routine zero-turn mower maintenance. Every deck comes with a built-in multi-ply rubber striping belt that combs the grass into crisp uniform stripes as you mow without cumbersome rollers that catch obstacles or gouge turf.
