The perfect finish starts here.
Whether Stand-On, MidMount, or FrontMount, our zero-turn mowers are built to ride smooth and finish strong.
From the rugged durability of our all-steel build to the reliable comfort of our all-day ride, every single inch of a Grasshopper zero-turn mower has been meticulously designed to achieve one simple goal: the perfect cut. The in-frame isolation built into every Grasshopper mower minimizes deck bounce and provides quick, smooth response in turns and while trimming. All of our blades are made of MARBAIN® steel—the hardest, strongest, longest-lasting material in the industry. These blades are cut 1/4-inch thick and are through hardened to hold their edge longer, delivering a better cut and twice the life of aftermarket blades. Optimizes mowing results with high-strength, tempered-steel blades that cut close to deck edges, eliminating secondary trimming. Choose from a range of specialty blades to suit your application and provide the best quality of cut in any mowing conditions. Every inch of our zero-turn mower is built with design-matched components, so you can take on the toughness of Mother Nature while still getting the industry's best cut. Comes standard with a multi-ply rubber striping belt that combs grass into crisp uniform stripes as you mow without cumbersome rollers that catch obstacles or gouge turf.
Nothing compares to a DuraMax deck.
We didn't settle for flimsy, stamped-steel decks. We spent years building the toughest, most durable deck around.
All of our mower decks are made from the same robotically welded, heavy-gauge, formed steel and are far superior to the flimsy plastic or stamped-steel construction you find elsewhere. Our extra deep 5.5-inch DuraMax® decks are made from years of innovative airflow research and feature specially designed cutting chambers that deliver enhanced airflow for a better cut quality. Plus, an extra layer of heavy-gauged formed steel sits over the deck’s leading edge for greater overall durability and impact protection. Spindles are anchored to double layers of robotically-welded, formed steel in a 6-bolt pattern to spread the force of impact for greater strength in commercial applications. Triple-strength decks are nearly 1-inch thick in stress zones with durable Sentry™ spindles mounted on spindle planes that are more than 25% thicker than 1/4 inch. Spindle guards shield the housing and seal lower bearings from grass wrap and dirt ingestion. High-impact, high-rotational-speed bearings with durable seals extend spindle life. Designed to let you change the way you mow without changing decks, Grasshopper decks let you easily convert between standard Side-Discharge, Down-Discharge™ Mulching, and PowerVac™ Collection. With QuikAjust™ DropPin™, you can easily adjust the height of your cutting deck anywhere from 1 to 5 inches with a single-foot pedal and drop pin for ultimate precision and a smoother finish. Easily reach belts and grease points, plus make quick, simple work out of your routine zero-turn mower maintenance. You get the strength and durability of DuraMax without ever sacrificing on features...as all of our FrontMount DuraMax decks come with PowerFold™ built in. So it's easier than ever to swap out blades and clean the underside of your deck.
Reduced maintenance.
Our zero-turns are built to be the most reliable, service-friendly lawn mowers around. Because less maintenance on your zero-turn means more uptime.
Thanks to our Access-Eze™ design, you can quickly and easily access belts and grease points. Horizontal crankshaft engines are easily accessible and offer rear access to the clutch and a cleaner environment for extended service life. And on liquid-cooled zero-turn mower models, simply raise the hood for easy engine access. A PowerFold deck comes standard on all of our FrontMount mowers. So it's easier than ever to swap out blades and clean the underside of your deck. With only five lubrication points on MidMount zero-turn mower models and fewer than 10 on FrontMount zero-turn mower models, you'll significantly reduce the time you spend on maintenance. With its rugged design and fine-particle filtration system, you'll run your mower up to 1,000 hours between transmission oil changes—more than three times longer than other riding mowers. High-efficiency, fine-particle filtration protects the transmission while an auxiliary cooling fan on each transmission pump, an original Grasshopper specification requirement, extends service intervals and transmission life. A clean radiator protects your mower engine from overheating. A removable debris screen on liquid-cooled zero-turn models simplifies cleaning. An optional cleaning wand uses water pressure to dislodge debris without damaging radiator fins.
