The hydrostatic transmissions used in our FrontMount™ zero-turn mowers are built to strict specifications and designed to match the power unit, providing a smooth, intuitive feel that only Grasshopper delivers. The transmissions transfer more power to the cutting deck for quieter operation and greater traction through turns. Design-matched pump-and-wheel motor drive systems run cooler to extend service life. Plus, genuine Grasshopper fluid and filters keep costs as low as 7 cents per hour.

Built from the blades up for ultimate durability and performance, our out-front decks feature extra-deep, 5.5-inch cutting chambers and are made from robotically welded, heavy-gauge, formed US steel. MARBAIN® cutting blades are 1/4-inch thick and are through-hardened to hold their edge longer, delivering a better cut and twice the life of aftermarket blades. The operator's station is centered around a deep-cushioned seat with coil-spring suspension and padded lumbar support. It also features easy-to-reach operation controls, is iso-mounted to reduce vibrations, and comes equipped with QuikAjust Tilt™ dual steering levers that can be adjusted to better match the operator's reach and will automatically return to neutral from either forward or reverse.
PowerFold Deck.
An industry-first, the PowerFold® Electric Deck Lift is a standard feature on every one of our FrontMount zero-turn mowers.
With just the flick of a switch, raise the cutting deck to a near-90° vertical position for safe underside access, easy cleaning, quicker blade changes, and more. When the deck is completely raised, your FrontMount mower has a footprint equal to that of a MidMount™, saving you immense space when loading onto a trailer for transport or into a shed for long-term storage. The PowerFold doesn't just fold up for easier maintenance, but allows you to adjust your cutting height as well. Move your cutting height between 1.25 and 5 inches without the need to reposition hitch pins or perform other time-consuming tasks. The low-profile, out-front design lets you easily nose in and out of tight spaces under fences, shrubs, and low-hanging trees. This virtually eliminates the need for string trimming.
