New Grasshopper zero-turn mowers for 2018

Whether you are a professional landscape contractor, or just want to mow like one, Grasshopper has introduced four new zero-turn mowers to the industry for 2018.
Like all Grasshopper Mowers, these new models take the hassle out of mowing with commercial-grade components, long-lasting durability and low-maintenance designs perfectly suited for mowing jobs big and small.

Models 900D 1.3L & 400D 1.3L Commercial Zero-Turn Mowers
Grasshopper is proud to re-introduce the 400 and 900 Series Clean Diesel zero-turn mowers to the Grasshopper product line.
Both of these highly anticipated commercial zero-turn mowers are powered by large-displacement, 1.3L MaxTorque™ diesel engines that are Tier 4 Final compliant with no exhaust emissions after-treatment systems. This means no loss of power from an alphabet soup of extra “junk,” and they deliver extreme torque with better fuel economy, lower vibration and longer service life.
Both models feature an integrated, mult-point InFrame™ suspension which is maintenance-free with no moving parts for unparalleled comfort. Extra-large 24" drive tires and a low center of gravity provide extra grip, float and traction.
Choose between 61" or 72" DuraMax® cutting decks that are 5.5" deep with the industry's largest spindles — 8" diameter —with standard spindle guards to protect lower bearings from dirt, sand and clippings, and 1/4"-thick GrassMax™ MARBAIN® blades. So, you’ll handle a higher volume of clippings, leaves and other material with a better cut quality at faster speeds.
Model 900D 1.3L FrontMount™ is the largest-displacement out-front zero-turn mower on the market today. It is literally in a class of its own. The out-front deck is equipped with PowerFold® Electric Deck Lift for easy access to the underside of the deck, and gives the ability to reach in, under and around mowing obstacles with greater ease. The spindled PTO shaft delivers more power, more efficiently, to the cutting deck or implement. It also accepts a range of year-round implements which transform the power unit from a mower to a specialty-use piece of equipment – think leaf collectors, snowthrowers, rotary brooms, aerators, sprayers and turbine blowers.

All-New 500V Series Residential Zero-Turn Mowers
Grasshopper has expanded its line of economical V Series residential zero-turn mowers with the all-new 500V Series.
At 8 mph, the 500V Series mowers are the fastest, most compact out-front zero-turn mowers on the market. Powered by a 724cc Commercial Turf or 810cc Vanguard vertical crankshaft engines, these two models feature low-profile out-front cutting decks – 42” manual FoldUp™ or 52” PowerFold® – that provide three ways to mow: Side discharge, mulch or PowerVac™ collection with the same deck.
The out-front decks allow unrestricted vision and line-of-sight trimming while you mow and easy access to compact, low-clearance areas – such as fences, shrubs or trees – with minimal speed reduction. The FrontMount™ decks float independently from the power units and follow the contour of the landscape for a better cut in high-visibility and ultra-manicured areas.
