Grasshopper launches online user community

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – The Grasshopper Company has launched a new Community section on the company’s website where Grasshopper users can connect and share their experiences with each other, the company and prospective owners. “We wanted to create an avenue for our customers to tell the world why they love their Grasshopper mowers,” says Trent Guyer, marketing coordinator at Grasshopper. “We want to hear their stories.” The online Community is composed of four separate “communities”: 1. A Company News section, highlighting the latest news from Grasshopper, including recent events, honors and new product announcements; 2. An Industry User Stories section, featuring in-depth interviews and real-life equipment application stories about how individual users in a variety of industries are making the most profitable use of their time with Grasshopper mowers; 3. A What’s Your Story? section, where individual users can share their comments and short stories about why they use Grasshopper; 4. A password-protected Media Resources section – accessible only to Grasshopper’s media partners – where members of the media will find product releases and photos to help them feature Grasshopper mowers in their publications. Community members can also download Grasshopper wallpapers, coloring pages and access the G-Mow – Grasshopper’s mascot – fan page on Facebook. “The Grasshopper Community is about camaraderie, connections and convenience,” Guyer says. “It’s about keeping in contact with our existing customers and making real-life stories easily accessible to those who want to know more about what enthusiastic Grasshopper users are saying about their experiences.” To join the conversation, visit the Grasshopper Community.
