Grasshopper “Fuel & Emissions Calculator” wins top honors at annual TOCA awards banquet



MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – The Grasshopper Company, manufacturer of commercial-grade zero-turn mowers, continues to build on its success, not only as an leader in innovative and lean manufacturing, but also as leader in the marketing and communications realm of the outdoor power equipment industry by receiving recognition at the 24th Annual Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) awards banquet in Portland, Ore., on May 9. The company was awarded first-place honors for the launch of its innovative Fuel & Emissions Calculator for commercial mowing equipment, an online calculator for comparing fuel costs and emissions for landscape contractors and commercial mowing fleets.
