MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – Nearly 120 excited children collected more than 1,200 Easter eggs in the 2009 Great Easter Egg Hunt in Moundridge yesterday.
The candy-filled eggs were provided by Grasshopper, while grand prize eggs, volunteers and volunteer refreshments were provided by Moundridge Food Market; Cradle to Crayons provided the manpower to stuff and hide the eggs.
G-Mow and the Easter Bunny (compliments of Moundridge Food Market) were there to encourage the children as they hunted for eggs. Just before giving out a big hug, one boy said, “I love you G-Mow!”
